MattJenko
Here is my latest effort with my humble Canon 450d. I have had some very useful processing advice from some forum members for this, so thought it only right to post the results of that help in here:Skywatcher ED80, HEQ5, ST80/ASI120M guider. 24 x 10 minute subs with a few 20 sec subs for the core. DSS for stacking, PixInsight for main processing and then blended and touched up in Photoshop.Am on the verge of convincing myself of the need of an LRGB CCD system, but that has nothing to do with the Canon that is working miracles for me at the moment:ThanksMatt

Martin Meredith
One of the best M42s I've seen, no core burn out at all and a lovely delicate colour scheme.Martin
