Diagonal Pressure

Might not be the correct forum for this but here goes anyway.

Bought a WO 2" diagonal for my C8 and connected it to the scope via a celestron f6.3 corrector/reducer.

No qualms about the performance of the diagonal but at the end of the session I tried to disconnect the diagonal from the reducer.

Not humanly possible. The thing was so tight I had to get the monkey wrench on it to take it apart.

I'm thinking of smearing some vaseline or similar on it but wondered what everyone else might use for 'overtight thread' connections.

Thanks,

Robbie.
