What I thought was going to be a clear night,all I got was 45mins,before total cloud.

This is a reflection Nebulae in Monoceros,which had the skies been clear,i had high hopes of.

Anyway this is just 4x600secs in RGB.

ED80 + HX916 camera.

I am hoping that the red is nebulosity,rather than bad processing.

We are told to include the bad and the good,so here it is.

I just might go back to this.

Oh dear,i have just seen that spectacular image of this region,in 2 posts down.

Time to give up.

I feel your pain Mick.   I think we have all been there - Set up ready for imaging and then the dreaded clouds roll in.

It definitely looks worth  a return visit as the red nebulosity does appear to  match the other image
