johnrt
This is the first half of what I'm hoping to turn in to a 2 panel LRGB mosaic of the M81 & M82 pair. The first image is M82 - I have so far captured just a little over 12 hours of LRGB and I'm ready to move on to the neighbour. Bring on the clear skies!!Imaged as usual with the 6"RC, Atik 460ex, IDAS LP2 and Baader LRGB. Sequence Generator Pro, Pixinsight and CS5 for the capture and processing. johnrt
Thanks Michael I was happy about that as I'm not sure if the 3nm Astrodon would be effective with such a short band pass and the red shifted Ha wavelength of the galaxy.

johnrt
Thank you for the comments everyone. Although the skies are playing ball at the moment, my work shifts aren't and it looks like I'll be missing my 3rd clear imaging night this week tonight due to work, so I'll be waiting until after the full moon to make any more progress.Still if this game was easy, everyone would be doing it.
