SPC900NC monochrome modification?

Hello!

I am planning to modify one of my SPC900NC cameras to a monochrome version. I have some problems to find a ICX098BL sensor but I have found an ebay seller that sells the ICX098AL sensor for a reasonable amount of money. Can I just do the same sensor swap that is possible with a ICX098BL sensor with a ICX098AL sensor instead?

They are pin compatible, I have checked the datasheets and compared them.

I do not have seen anything about the sensitivity.

Any suggestions to this? Is it possible to mount a ICX098AL on a SPC900NC toucam and just flash it with WcRmac on a XP-machine?

I found out that the ICX098BL sensor is slighly more sensitive according to ICX098AL and i found one BL sensor on aliexpress.
