What should Lovejoy look like through a scope?

Recommended Posts

Set up tonight - pointed the scope in just about the right place (about 1/2 way between Aries and the Pleiades) I can see a faint fuzzy ball with a slightly brighter centre but I see no tail - is this Lovejoy?

Friday Night, with the 250px from a dark location:

Edit: I did get a tail - but it was pretty hard to spot

I'm 5 miles from Heathrow so never going to be dark here! I stuck the SLR on the back and got some shots but struggled with the focus. I will put the best one up soon. Its distinctly blue in colour!
