Mak 150 pro sct

I see the new version of the 150 pro maksutov now has an SCT rear thread instead of the odd size fitting of the previous model, this has got me thinking that the celestron 6.3 focal reducer could now be used with this new model, for those times when you dont want lots of focal length, what would the focal length work out to and would it be worth doing?

Would this result in a wider FOV or just reduce the magnification with the original gathered FOV i.e. Just make the image 63% the size in the EP?

I think it would increase the fov but not sure it would work
