Another sunny day

At least with this weather I'm getting plenty of chances to improve my solar imaging. This time here's a disk and a couple of very interesting looking proms. The disk was done with the QHY5 through my PST and the other two are the same setup with a Tal 3 x Barlow.

I used autostakert for the stacking, firecapture for the capture and PixInsight for the final finishing touches. Thanks to Robin and others for the hints from my last image.

Great stuff, all of them Sam. Snow here this morning, improving through sleet to rain. Sunny spells yesterday, but I was too busy fixing up an awning ready for spring so no sun for me.

Great images, makes me want to try some white light with my QHY5. Im guessing that would be simple enough to do?

Nice! Re taking the day off work: I normally take my scope with me to work every day. I din't bother yesterday as the forecast was so poor. Guess what? Absolutely clear blue skies for the whole day.... typical.
