Hello from Nottingham UK

Hi Folks,

Very, very new to astronomy, as of 24th Dec 2014 I had never owned a telescope. On 25th Dec 2014 a funny man bought me a sparkling new one. It was a Celestron Powerseeker 76az. After two replacements it went back.

Move forward 3 weeks I am now the proud owner of a Skywatcher Skyliner 10" Dobsonian some progression that is.

All I have to do now is find my way round the sky.

Hi Gary and welcome to the forum. The Skyliner 10" is a very capable scope and is viewed by many as the "goldilocks" of that range; not to big to move about and set up like the 12" but a bit more aperture than the very popular Skyliner 8"- in other words, just right!
