Hi,

I'm thinking of getting into entry level CCD imaging however I'm on a really tight budget.

Have any of you folks had experience with this particular cam?

Fits the current budget but will I be disappointed with performance?

As I said, the key words here are "entry level"!

It will be used with a 12" Dobsonian scope.

Thanks for any info.

Its a good camera at a really fine price but with one exception. It's sensitive to the CPU in the  computer. I had one which worked fine on Vista machine but refused to connect when used on my laptop with Windows 7 using an AMD chip. I believe they are fine with Intel cpu chips.

It was  a pity because it looked very promising on the computer which worked.

Anyway FLO refunded me without question
