Great viewing here tonight - any good double stars to find?

another really good play with our little Heritage 100P - found some lovely clusters, esp M48 - wow! 

wanted to go hunting an interesting double star - any suggestions. Viewing looks N and E but can move if needs be

Sigma Orion is an interesting multiple star just below the lowest of Orion's "belt" stars and Theta, the famous Trapezium in the heart of the Orion Nebula (M42).

Orion is full of them. John as picked a couple of great targets in the Trapezium and Sigma Orion.

On the other side of the sky.

Almach in Andromeda is nice and high now and Polaris is worth a quick look.

Might as well mention Castor in Gemini as well - easy to find and a lovely pair of spotlights

While your poking around Orion have a look at Mintaka the right hand belt star, nice easy double.
