Nexstar plus upgrade

Hi peeps just a quick q,I'm trying to upgrade my nexstar play firmware,I got the update ready but I can't get my handset to go program mode,I tried the celetron picture button with the back button and nothing and tried the info button which is bottom middle with the back button and I get initializing and I let go of the buttons but it does go into transmit data,it just goes to normal screen,ant help pls

You need to press and hold both the Celestron Logo button and the Menu button (7) and turn on the mount with them pressed.

Hi James sorry if a silly question but I tried that and it says boot loader user keypad entry

Thats what mine does, I can then use the upgrade application.

Just note that the upgrade app can be a bit unreliable at finding the controller sometimes, I typically need to restart it twice before it will work.
