A few days ago i tried my modified 6D with a camera lens for the first time for a wider field than i get with my 100Q, unfortunately i got just under 1 hour because the touchpad on my keyboard stopped working so i could just finish the current sequence, but not start a new one.

I got a total of 37 images of 90sec @ ISO1600 through an EF 200 2.8 II lens @ f/5.0.

There is a lot of noise because of the short total imaging time, but other than that i'm pretty satisfied.

Some bright stars have reflections which comes from the Baader ACF filter in my camera,i will look at fixing this later.

Seems like such a shame to drop this lens down to f/5, but my word those are some nice stars you have in those corners ... especially since you're using a full frame DSLR!

You just managed to get M78 in there as well :oD.

Great job.
