January 14, 2015: Two short binocular views of Lovejoy

When I came back from Frank's judo lesson at 18:45, the sky was clear with patchy clouds, and the missus hadn't quite finished cooking so I could steal a quick view of Lovejoy with the big bins. Had to content myself with a short look, both because dinner was served and clouds rushed in. I thought that would be all, but just now it cleared briefly, and I got a longer look at Lovejoy. It is just a bit northwards of 5 Tauri, and showing a distinct greenish tint, and hints of tail. Inspection of a satellite image reveals the clear spell will be short-lived, so no chance of imaging. Still lucky to see this much.
