Well that took some time to get all my records back up to date- if anyone knows how to transfer an excel spreadsheet directly into the forum I'd be most obliged. Well on the face of it this has been the best observing year to date but we all know statistics lie as the wind has been very annoying this year but if you could find a sheltered spot there have been a lot of opportunities. May gives the best views of Saturn for this year so I may get the scope out in the garden just one last time- hopefully the summer is set to make its appearance soon.  My brother in law is about to get a scope- I've directed him here for some good advice so perhaps I may get out and about a bit more than I planned in the next 4 or 5 months - its been a pretty disappointing year for me on the observing front but still love looking skyward so no doubt will get up to Blaenavon again to catch up before next year kicks off for me in September - cheers  all
