From the orange skies of Camberwell

Hi All

Attached are first real attempts with LL/Lodestar Colour combo following brief session last night from the orange skies of Camberwell London.

Using a Meade LX90 200mm SCT plus MFR5.

All various stacks of 30s exposures.

Still got a lot to learn, struggling a bit with the histogram / colour adjust but I'm sure this will come with practice.

Horsehead - just about make it out, but Hubble Variable Nebula was a pleasant surprise and a rewarding target.

Regards

Pat

Very well done! These video-cams are quite forgiving with light-pollution from most sources. That's one surprise for many people.

I am wondering, though, how you set up your MFR-5? I, too, have one waiting in the wings to use when I get through fixing-up my site. And I've not heard of many - or from - people who have one. Or are using one. From the few personal accounts I've read, these are very nice hunks of glass.

Keep going,

Dave
