Hi everyone.

I'm Tot and live in Nottingham, UK in a  very light-polluted place about a mile from the city centre.  Been into the hobby for a couple of years now and have visited here often for help.  I have never previously posted as I could usually find the info I needed in existing threads and didn't want to flood the place with the same-old questions asked many times before.  Plus, I'm shy.  :-)

Naked-eye viewing is my favourite aspect of astronomy, just sitting back looking for meteors during a shower.  I have some 20 x 80 binos which get a lot of use, too.  My current scope is a 150P Skywatcher on AZ Goto mount which has been fine up to now...

Seems I need to make a few posts before I can access the classifieds on the board. I'm thinking about getting a secondhand 10" Dobsonian soon-ish.  I'd better start posting so I can see what you guys have for sale!

Thanks for the links.  I had actually recently discovered astrobuysell and check there often. 

On a side note, tonight I saw Mercury close to Venus, with Mars nearby.  Beautiful.  Later I saw Comet Lovejoy through the binos.  First comet I have ever seen.
