Another Devon Newbie

Just a quick hello from another Devon newbie.  I'm near Honiton and am interested in local clubs/socials/etc. Taken a drive by the NLO but when do they meet/how does it work for new people?

The guys down at the NLO are the closest to you that I know of.  There's a group in Crewkerne and another in Tiverton as well.

I think they meet on a Friday, just no idea how often.

Yes the members night at the NLO is weekly, every Friday. There are parallel sessions starting at 7.30pm, one session for observers, the other session for imagers. Then at 8.30pm, both groups convene in the main lecture theatre for a combined session which has talks covering areas of interest for both. It's very informal, and new folks are welcome to pop along any Friday evening to see what goes on, you don't need to become a member to do this. On clear Friday nights there will also be observers and imagers set-up and running their kit.
