Hi folks,

I know a lot is said about this subject but I cant find any actual reports of this. Most people seem to just do anything on earth including selling their souls to get to 55mm.

My setup with OAG etc looks like requiring 58mm (or maybe 59mm) to the EOS chip rather than the ever desirable 55mm.

Does anyone have any actual experience of trying a coma corrector (ideally the SW) a few mm out of the desirable range? I would imagine it'll make [removed word] all difference.

Also - any experience of how well these CC's work out into the IR part of the spectrum, ie to ~950nm? I would imagine that as the CC is really only tweaking the light a little they'll be fine.

Cheers

Nick
