Hi all,

my name is Danny Lee and I have just picked up astronomy again after a long break. The new interest was sparked by recently acquired access to pretty dark skies after being in a town centre with all its loverly street lights etc killed my earlier interest but at least I did not get rid of the kit..

I have a Helios 4inch refractor on an EQ3 with RA drive,

I also have a Skymax 127, just bought a new controller for that after stepping on the old one in the dark around 2007

I also still have a Fullerscopes 10 inch mirror set bought around 1979. Will probably get that re-coated and build a mount for it.

My other hobby, not weather dependent, is restoring old motorbikes, so I have quite a good workshop with lathe, milling, and full welding kit, so I should be able to make something useable.
