Well i dusted the Toucam Pro Sc1.5 off to get a close up image of M42 with the ST102 and quite happy with the result. The st102 being F/5 and using a Canon 300D means a widefield of view so for closer ups i will use this Toucam until the 127 mak comes .

Cheers Guy's,

Martin this is using the Modified Toucam Pro 2 (SC 1.5 allows longtime exposures and has a cooling fan on the back house in a hobby box) so the image is just the Toucam's colour chip and 640x400. The processed colour is pretty much as the Toucam found in the pre processed images.

I use K3CCDTOOLS i personally find it the best for this not processor hungry and works everytime at the click of a button  plus it saves the frames to an Avi file so it's easy to stack them in say Registax.

The Toucam Pro SC1.5 is well worth the money if you wanna get into deep sky imaging Martin?..
