My first camera

This thread has a link to a very cheap webcam which I am currently trying out.

Another very cheap webcam is the xbox webcam also on ebay.

Better but more expensive is the Phillips spc900 also try ebay.

After that have a go with what you can find hanging around that friends/family may have.

My first telescope and one i'm using now is a Bresser Skylux 70/700

I was just wondering if a camera is even compatible and if so would anyone reccomend any.

I want the images to be good quality !

At this stage I would look to get the type that can be used with your telescope and mount, and for this I would start with a webcam and see how you get on.

There is still a lot to learn with using a webcam and then processing your videos into one final image.

Once you have practised that you may find that image processing is not your thing.
