Vixen Super Polaris 90M

As I'm off between Christmas and new year I decided to convert the 90M to use a standard Vixen dovetail and add a quick release finder shoe for the rdf.

Very pleased with the result, and it will get more use now as my other mounts also use dovetail clamps.

Shown on my TAL "travel" mount.

Looks very nice. I rather like the wooden Vixen tripods (my GP mount has one). Very sturdy, and they look great too.

Very nice, is that the 90 vixen that i missed on ebay a month ago?, i still wish i had gone for it, looks brill on the TAL mount an tripod

Lovely scope. Mine was on ebay about four years ago. Family moved into a house, found a dusty looking cardboard box covered in Japanese printing.

It's got very sharp optics, if you find one, snap it up. The M mount is a lovely smooth alt az,

Just dug this out, not bad for £112, no other bidders !

This is the mount it came with but I will be selling it in the new year as I prefer the TAL one.
