I'm just starting out in this wonderful hobby and am looking forward to years of exploring the skies. Found this excellent forum and having taken a look, I'm amazed at how much knowledge is out there, which is excellent for someone new to the hobby, a total one stop shop for advice, which is genuinely needed and appreciated. 

So, from the dark skies of Norfolk, albeit cloudy at present, its good to be here.

Welcome to SGL.

There are 3 very good astronomical groups near Norwich. I am a member of both the Norwich Astronomical Sco and Kings Lynn & NW Norfolk group.

The Norwich group have a beaut of an observing site at Seething...

Well worth coming along to see what equipment folk are using before you commit to buying.
