Reducing digital noise

As a photographer, I use a Photoshop plugin called Noiseware Professional. This reduces digital noise markedly and also smooths the image quality. Take a look at http://www.imagenomic.com/products.aspx This plugin only works in CS versions, but there is a stand alone version for those without photoshop, or pre CS versions.

Gary, there's also a free community edition of the standalone that works very well and doesn't appear to have any limitations.

I use the "Community Edition" on most of the stuff I post. I generally use it as the final touch in any processing - for me it's an indespensible part of my processing toolbox.

I recommend all to give it a try.
