Yes hopefully the number crunching on the gravity etc. works out.

It'll be such a shame to fall at the last hurdle, but nature has a habit of being a bitch!

It must have been a very nervous moment.  Quite a few things can go wrong trying to establish a 3-way comms link under those exacting conditions.  Well done to all involved, and good luck for the even more tricky bit to come!

The number of connections went from 160k to 150k, and is now 141k and dropping.  I assume that is because they're all at lunch and nothing is happening.  I've just tried a 2nd connection and it's not hooking up for me either.  Maybe they're taking the opportunity of a quiet period to do some last minute maintenance on the servers?

I gather there might be problems with the engine that holds Philae

in place when / if the harpoons are fired? But, even if it crashes
