Beta Orionis from SWSP

well whilst waiting for the crown jewel to clear the trees at SWSP. i swung steves 20" dob round to Rigel and there it was the companion 9 arc sec away. i ve always like this pair as Rigel is the 7th brightest star in the night sky i get a kick from seeing its companion. srteve & cal wasnt amused they thought it was boring.

Also while hunting down 891 in calvs 18" i showed him Almach which is pretty similar to Albario but tighter.

I swear I just do not get looking at fuzzys. Well maybe not those fuzzys anyhow .

A mate of mine was very impressed with a faint fuzzy I showed him through one of my scopes. He was less impressed when I focussed it properly for him and he could see it was a triple star ( Psi Cas ). Maybe multiple stars are not for everyone...... (sigh!).
