Wakefield and District Astronomical Society - 1st Birthday Party (16th October)

Hello everyone,

Wakefield and District Astronomical Society are proud to be celebrating their 1st year in existence with an event on Thursday 16th October at Horbury Academy (address below).

There will be a raffle, an astro related quiz, the launch of the WADAS20 observing challenge, a cake and various nibbles. Afterwards we'll be retiring to a local pub for a couple of drinks. The event will be starting at 7:30.

If you're in the region please feel to pop along and join in the fun, whatever your level of interest in astronomy.
