Recommended Posts

I have decided to attempt to replace the filter on my 1100d next weekend, i've ordered most of the tools i'll need to do the job, all I need now is silicone, can anybody recommend a silicone for holding the new filter in place?

I just used some clear silicon sealant that I got from one of those "cheap" shops, not Poundland as such just everything is tacky and cheap. Mine was a 70g tube of 151 clear silicone sealant and cost £1.

Fleabay have them on for £1.73...

You only need the tiniest of tiniest blobs...
