safely carry my 15x70s ?

can anyone recommend a way to safely carry my 15x70s whilst riding my bike out to a dark location ?    a flight case is too unwieldy.......!

Wrapped in bubble wrap in a backpack maybe...?

Your body will act as a shock absorber unless you fall of and end up on your back of course....

As Peter has said, but perhaps if either carried in a rucksack or a pannier, wrapped in a piece of camping mat foam.

I carry a  lot of camera gear in a proper camera backpack ...

It offers a lot more "protection" compared to a standard backpack...

Like most things you get what you pay for...

Lol the closest dark site to me is about 100 miles away. Wouldn't dream of cycling that, the thought of going out in the dark and cycling plus the thought of cycling back just to get a glimpse of a deep space object that I can't see at home! Perhaps I would suggest a weekend at a dark sky site camping?

I would use a backpack. I have a padded bag to carry them and would put this inside my regular backpack
