Ha RGB and Baader UHC-S

Recommended Posts

Last year I tried to image M42 with RGB and used the Ha filter as the L. I was pretty pleased with the results.  I have read about people adding this kind of filter to their LRGB imaging to reduce the light pollution that, unfortunately, even I have to put up with. I have a Baader UHC-S filter and I was wondering if I could combine it with my Ha RGB method or if the double filter would ruin my Ha snaps.  I dont want to remove it just for the Ha as this would create a lot of other problems: rotation of the camera, different spacing, major re-focus. Once I start snapping I just want to turn the filter wheel.  If anyone has any advice on the matter I would greatly appreciate...Thanks!
