Neptune ?

Tried imaging Neptune between the neighbouring Leyandii last night while hoping for Aurora.

Do we think this is Neptune ?

No calibration so ignore noise dead pixels etc

Do you have Stellarium? If you know the observing time, you can superimpose the

image field (chip dimensions / orientation). Check pattern of surrounding stars etc.

Last night there was seemingly a mag +11 star about 2 arc min NW of Neptune

- This as a start for "getting your bearings"? I do try to be honest with these claims.

Looks like Stellarium view with sensor/scope superimposed, more dim stars visible on the original image, not sure how quickly it moves against the star background may try again tonight to see if it's moved, if it's clear.

Only get about 10mins to catch it between the trees.
