Possible aurora over Uk

Looks like North Cumbria was the furthest south it got, I gave it a go in west Lancashire but got nothing, due to the poor visibility at the horizon it wasn't quite possible, may just of caught it otherwise.

Unfortunately the northerly Bz, bright moonlight and prevailing mist spoiled the show somewhat, but aurora hunters in the far north of the UK got to see a subdued show by finding gaps in the mist......

Meant to say that we even spotted a faint aurora corona around 2210UT - it was barely visible to the naked eye due to the moonlight, but the camera caught it. I'm still to process those pics, but if they look decent I'll post one at a later point.

I caught a slight red/purple tinge to the sky around 10:15pm here in Lincolnshire but nothing else unfortunately. 

It was a great night to be out though, I could hear Barn and Tawny owls hunting, the moon looked an awesome dark red as it rose and the fog looked incredible, made for an interesting and slightly scary bike ride home! lol
