Nice big super bright Moon down this part as well. Pretty much spent a peaceful hour with the 4" frac just letting it drift by with the 19mm Panoptic in the focuser. No high power work, just enjoying its other worldly orb like qualities :p

I do love looking at the moon either in binocs (tripod mounted, preferably) or a good scope with appropriate moon filter.  Recently sold my ST80 to a family friend, I'm sure they will be observing the large moon tonight and enjoying seeing the craters along the terminator for the first time in some detail.  If they only ever observe the moon with the ST80, they will be following in the footsteps of some great astronomers who did the same.
