Do you use a software program to keep records of your astral observations if so what do you use?

I use my own website.  Maybe that is cheating but it suits me.  Writing up or making notes in the dark is difficult though perhaps with something like Nebulosity  you can make notes as you image.

I use a simple notebook, not high-tech, but it gets the job done and I can check back on it whenever I want(no computer needed)

Not a pro here though, I have only had my telescope for a couple months...

I jot down notes with a pencil and notebook as I go and write up the next day usually and store as individual office documents.

For now I use a sketch pad and fine point markers for notation and sketches.

In the field I am very old school. Pen and notepad. After the session I transfer the notes to a commercial planning program I own so I can instantly see what I still need to view in any particular list

I just use a spreadsheet - with one row for each thing I observed, and some details about the common name, date, location, scope. More detailed notes - description, etc. - go in a notebook.
