M101 My second post

Hi all

This is my second post and to be honest I am chuffed, theres a lot of things that could be improved, focus for one but i know how much of a steep learning curve I'm on.

I do seem to struggle with getting a nice dark background in my images without losing the detail of the DSO, I'm not sure whether its because of my lack of skill in processing or whether its something I'm doing wrong during capturing the image, (I don't currently use LPR filter for example). I did however manage to take Darks, Flats (using my newly made lightbox) and bias frames.

Any advice would be welcome.

Well looks clear here in cambridgeshire for a change so i think i will give M81 a go. :D

Cheers Jon
