Been trying to port all my astro stuff to Win 8.1 to see if it all works without driving me to drink.

I have an Orion Star Shoot Autoguider camera which works fine with Win XP Pro and PHD1 but refuses to work with Win 8.1 and PHD2. downloaded and installed latest Orion 8.1 drivers but the camera shows up in device manager as unknown with no driver installed and PHD2 doesnt find it.

Anyone  with similar working setup ?
