Another amazing galaxy group

Out last night with my new toy..a second hand 16mm nirvana eyepiece...stunning piece of glass!

Went back to NGC 6338 in Draco...I had tried this with my old 10 inch but failed...it was relatively easy with averted vision..

It's a bright elliptical galaxy which anchors a group of galaxies about 400 million light years away...Very bright X ray object as well I see..

Also spotted NGC 6345/6 nearby which I was very pleased with..

I also managed to locate five other "local" previously unseen galaxies in the area before blinding myself with another look at comet Jacques..

Another amazing evening...such a privilege to see such things.

The eyepiece is a keeper..
