Mounting a 250px

HI,

I have a solid tube 250px and while I love the Dob, I have access to an NEQ6 and I wondered if this mount would be suitable for mounting the 250px OTA on (with tube rings and dovetail)? I would then like to do some imaging, and I know that decent imaging newtonians tend to be shorter (the Skywatcher PDS versions of the various aperture models for example) so I also wondered if the 250px has any limitations when it comes to focus for imaging?

I've been doing a lot of looking at mounts and OTA's and this is a combination that I think will work well -- it's probably about the biggest for imaging on an EQ6 (I've seen 300p on EQ6 for visual but read that they are too big and wavy for imaging).
