Very clear tonight

Can anctially see andromeda without the the telescope seeing good tonight , get them out

lovely clear skies here in maidenhead as well. The pleiades clear as a bell . winters on its way

Clearish here in Cork last night. Got up at 01:00 and got the scope out for the first time in months literally. Lovely to see andromeda again. Loads of globulars. Why are globs so prevalent in this part of the sky at the time of year (S)? The Veil was great, even without the filter. All in all, a good kick off to the season. Especially as I'm only a couple days after a hernia operation! You see, martyr for the cause, me. Where did I leave those painkillers....
