CLS light pollution filter

Canon 60da and CLS clip filter I'm finding the images of Milky Way are saturated in red.

Is this normal and how do I best adjust in photoshop.

Anyone have any advice.

Not noticed that with mine.

Image straight out of DSS with channels aligned during stacking.

The histogram shows the three colours quite far apart..

Without filter in its normal.

Yes thats right.

When stacking make sure that the software aligns the channels.

What I have found is red appears under exposed and blue over exposed.

As the sky gets darker and the exposure gets longer the channels tend to merge.
