warning! melted rubber washer replacement 350p

the other day when I went out observing my scope had not been out for 4 weeks and in that time somehow the rubber washer that screw the 350p base together had melted :eek:  up in the middle of no where I had no choice but to use them. now I have got some nylon washers from work and have replaced them. just a warning to anyone else using the same scope or the 400p keep them in a cool place. mine where hung up in a bag in my shed and must of gotten too hot. anyway these seem to work much better than the rubber one as they don't sink into the hole when tightened.
