Amazingly they got one thing right as its on space.com too, reading it on space.com shows that the mirrors facts about it are wrong ofcourse like the size is the same as earth(estimated) not a "giant Earth"

sounds accurate indeed as according to space.com it appears there are many diamond planets suspected to exist all over. shame we will never see such an amazing sight in our lifetimes though.

It seems to me that the density of diamond is somewhere around 3.5 gm/cc, whereas the density of a white dwarf is in the vicinity of 10 to the 6th gm/cc.

Either this story should have never made it past the editor, or I am missing something.
