Solar imaging filter ?

Hi Solar guys, be picking up Lunt LS60 this week and trying Solar imaging so need to ask a silly question.

I have a Minitron mono video camera, do I need to leave in the IR filter I have in the nose piece at present ?

By all means leave it in, it won't make any difference in or out, unless you have a problem with the Lunt

Then again I am referring to the Baader IR cut filter which cuts at 700nm, make sure yours cuts above 656nm and you will be fine.
