Hi

Got my first telescope at Christmas and have enjoyed what I have wanted to do since being a teenager

Do not get much chance due to work to do things every night, but would appreciate any advice on what to look for and also take some photos.

Understand there is a camping weekend soon, any news on dates and what happens would be useful

I live in Leeds and as such not far from Kielder and Ryedale forest sites

Thanks for any advice

Luckyman

Hi and welcome to SGL - I have some idea regarding imaging (I'm not visual at all), what scope / mount do you have? What would you like to image?

Look forward to seeing you around

Welcome aboard from High Wycombe. May your questions be answered (great place to ask them, VERY helpful crowd) and your skies be clear!

Hi Luckyman and welcome to SGL, as already asked, an indication of what you possess for observing would help a great deal towards solving any problems you may have, in observing or adventures into AP, enjoy your Astronomy :)

Hi Luckyman. You've got a great Astro Society in Leeds so go along there if you've not already joined. Welcome to SGL.
