That's an excellent image. Could I ask what webcam you were using and what the exposure times were?

The webcam was a Philips SPC900.

I have change the ccd for a Sony B/W ICX 424 and I have done the long exposure mod.

It hasn't got amp-off mod so my exposures are less than 60 seconds. It is cooled.

This specific image:

Luminance: 100 x 10 seconds

RGB: 30 x 30 seconds in each filter.

Stcked and combined in Maxim DL.

Thanks georgei. I just wanted to know if my exposure times were in the right sort of area. It seems they are (25s).

I too have the SPC900 but I haven't changed the ccd (yet?) nor flashed the RAW mod (yet?).

When the moon hides its face I will have another go.

Great wide field image Georgei. Just how I like em. Gives a sense of scale

A little beauty. That webcam is a little workhorse too, and coupled with a WO66 just superb.

Looks good with plenty of dim detail. Looks like the colour could do with a bit more of a shove
