NGC2359 In Ha

Tough is one for me this as the scope was skipping behind the obs wall ( note the flat edge to the halo on the bright star on the left) so I had to use the fold down window and remove the roof rail to get it, this limited my imaging time to the size of the window.

The moon and mist killed the contrast so it's pushed hard to get the faint stuff the result is a bit too noisy for me, another go on a moonless night would be better but those nights are earmarked for galaxies.

Still a great image Mike , loads of detail in there as well , but i know what u mean ,i,m the same only limited time for that one as well , annoying is,nt it when u know it could be so good , but just cant give it a full whack,anyway lovely fov on it , splended stuff

It's a dim target so I reckon you've done well given that it is so low and you had such limited time. It does look an amazing nebula

Blimey! Thats even lower in the sky than my Seagull... respect to you sir for that, its a dim target at the best of times, let alone with the moon as bright as it is
