Amazing image. 

They made us shut the window blid at night when I came back from Toronto, said it was standard at night time.  I was hoping to see the aurora, but fat chance.

Lucky that the aircraft was in very stable flight!

It's quite common for aircraft to have a constant small, smooth oscillation in the roll axis caused by the autopilot. It's usually only noticeable by watching the wingtips relative to the horizon.
