Have you submitted your app to Apple flo? :)

We submitted it to Apple last Wednesday. Apple don't say how long they take to approve an app but it appears eight days is average so it might be available at the app store later this week

We are assuming it passes first time...

Spot-on for me last night !

cloud/rain all evening without a break, looked so thick that it might be set like that for rest of the year !!

But 4cast said clearing at midnight,

I put my trust in it and waited up,

and Lo! it did come to pass that there was a brill sky at midnight !

Well done COWFA, thank you :)

That looks like my go to weather / observing app for the future- well done FLO guys - plenty of info, great interface much appreciated

looking forward to the Android app hopefully in the future also.

We have begun work on the Android app but we are almost entirely Apple here at FLO so it'll be a steep learning curve. Grant did say he likes a challenge...

:) How do I get the app to use my location at the home page flo? I seem to be doing everything but it keeps going to your location. Thanks

Tony

Hi Tony,

You need to add your location under the 'Locations' tab and then switch the 'Home Location' option on.

When adding a location, you can search by name or post code. You then have the option of tweaking the latitude and longitude should you wish before saving it.

In a future update, we may add an option to add the current location to the location list to make this a little simpler.

Hope that helps,

Cheers,

Grant

Hi Tony,

Try deleting that location and adding it again - it looks like when you did the address search, you've selected a location in Germany instead.

I've just tried here, and I can add Skelmersdale OK so it does appear in the search list.

Cheers,

Grant

First Light Optics is only one month away from her seventh birthday. With your support we have grown from a single person working from home to a team of seven operating from two units on a business park in Exeter. We literally could not have done this without you so we are hugely grateful.

We are now a team of eight

Natasha recently joined us and is working full-time with Annette and Lisa in order processing and dispatch.

She is also a fully trained barista!  :coffee2:  :happy7:  :hello2:

Clear Outside was launched only three months ago but has already generated 149,932 forecasts for 3,828 locations and feedback from users is remarkably positive, considering it is a weather forecast website.

After nearly six months Clear Outside has generated 300,741 forecasts for 6,785 locations.

Thank-you
