Underestimated the brightness of this object. Looked it up as mag 14 after taking the images.

6 X 10mins H-alpha , 6 X 10mins O-III , synthesised Green channel.

130mm APO at F6.

Might have another go at this when conditions are better. At least I did get something.

Having done this one last year John , i know its hard , i reckon you made an excellent job of it , and had the moon not been around think that would have satisfied you , even so it great , but once again its difficult for me to get to with my set up Grrrrrrrrrrrr .here was my one from last year , had power supply troubles then and had lines all through this , removed them leaving the imaged impaired a bit.
